Another Deadly Virus, Hantavirus Detected In China

The world is yet to recover from the corona virus pandemic first detected in wuhan, China and another deadly virus Orthohantavirus or just simply Hantavirus has already been detected in the Asian country. Hantavirus which is spread mainly by rodents has already killed a man from Yunnan Province, China.

Global times has reported that the man was on his way to work in a bus with 32 other passengers when he suddenly slumped and died.

Hantavirus is spread mainly by rodents. Unlike Coronavirus, the cases of human-to-human transmission of Hantavirus are rare. Humans may become infected with Hantavirus if they come in contact with rodent urine, saliva, or faeces.

Early symptoms of the virus include fatigue, fever, and muscle aches, along with headache, dizziness, chills and abdominal problems. If left untreated, it can lead to coughing and shortness of breath and finally death.
