Leicester Reject £70m Offers From Man Utd & Man City for Harry Maguire

2015/2016 EPL winners Leicester City have rejected two offers of around £70m from Manchester United and Manchester City for their defender Harry Maguire, though they are willing to sell for £85m to £90m should the offer present itself this summer.

Man Utd has been interested in Maguire for more than a year now but Man City recently became interested in him since their defender Vincent Kompany would be leaving to join his boyhood club Anderlecht as player-manager leaving a space to be filled at Etihad stadium.

Man City

Leicester city is under no pressure to sell and are perfectly content to sit on any deal until an acceptable offer is made. Their initial offer to both Man Utd and Man City was as high as as £120m.

Man Utd

Man United are in the market to sign a couple players to fill a number of positions including centre half which Harry Maguire, if signed will most likely fill.
