Manchester United sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka for £50m deal

Manchester United have signed 21-year-old Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace for £50m.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka who played his first team debut match for Crystal Palace last year agreed to a five-year contract of £80,000 a week.

Manchester United who confirmed the signing on Saturday are paying are £45m up front for Wan-Bissaka making him United’s fifth-biggest signing, behind Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku, Angel di Maria and Fred.

Wan-Bissaka in a statement said “It’s an unbelievable feeling and an honour.”

United’s Manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a statement said “Wan-Bissaka is one of the best upcoming defenders in the Premier League. He has the right work ethic, talent and mentality to play for Manchester United and he fits exactly the type of player that we are looking to bring into the squad to help us improve and push on further.”

Wan-Bissaka is the second player signed by Manchester United this summer after Daniel James joined the red devils from Swansea for £15m.
