Nigeria has claimed the first and second spot in the Oguzhan Ozkaya Education Karademin Science, Engineering, and Energy Exhibition Fair(OKSEF) which held in Turkey.
Nasarawa state represented the Nation in the Junior science category while Imo and Ondo states did the honors in the senior science categories.
The states having won in Nigeria were given the pportunity to represent the country in the junior and senior categories of the international event alongside other countries.
Nasarawa state came first in the Junior category while Imo and Ondo states emerged second in the senior category.
It was a five-day event held in Ismir, Turkey. Representatives came from 60 countries with 4 from Africa comprising Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, and South Africa.
The event which is hosted annually was organized by OKSEF to encourage high school students to do scientific and technological research by bringing together young people from the same age group around the world to compete abroad, to make the participation of young people’s projects as a representative, to enlarge their visions and to have a say in the international platform.
