SexForGrades: UNILAG suspends another lecturer, Samuel Oladipo

Still on sex for grades, the management of University of Lagos, UNILAG has yet again suspended another lecturer, Dr Samuel Oladipo for sexually harassing female students while teaching there.

Dr Samuel Oladipo was previously teaching at bells university where he was said to sexually harass female students, he later transferred to UNILAG where he continued his heinous act.

Dr Oladipo, who is a lecturer in the Department of Economics and was not specifically targeted by BBC Africa team approached the reporter, Kiki Mordi, while the team was reporting on the university campus and made sexual advances towards her with the promise of helping her with her studies.

On Monday, UNILAG management suspended Dr Boniface Igbeneghu of the Department of European Languages and Integrated Studies, Faculty of Arts and on Tuesday, the Vice-Chancellor of UNLAG, Prof Ouwatoyin Ogundipe, confirmed the suspension of Dr Oladipo by the university management, adding that he would face a panel.

Dr Boniface Igbeneghu was a pastor at four square gospel church, he was also suspended by the church’s committee. He attempted suicide but was rescued by people around him and was taken to the hospital where he is receiving treatment.
