Prolific Nigerian musicians, Timaya and Phyno have been in Abuja unveiled as the latest polio ambassadors in Nigeria.
The announcement was made by the chairman of Nigeria Polio Plus Committee (NNPC), Dr.Tunji Funsho who said “there is need to create awareness particularly from the South East and South-South in order to encourage parents to continue to immunizing their children to make the country a polio-free nation.”
Phyno has already promised to represent Rotary International by creating awareness about the polio virus through the use of his social media.

The Rotary International is giving $100 million to help fight polio so as to protect children in countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nigeria and many other countries where polio is a threat.
